2014 brings the 5th anniversary of the Jammin n Tings Festival hosted in the Naledi Village (Rustlers Valley farm village) on the Friday 18th to Monday 21st April 2014. Over four days, the festival hosts artists and visitors from the earshot boarder of Lesotho to the red brick enclaves of Birmingham where ever else lovers of good music reside. Dubbed as a music and arts festival, Jammin‘n Ting features an eclectic mix of local and international djs, selectors ,poets and musos who make for a gumbo of tastesflavoured by the music that has cultivated a sound popularly known as world music .
The Village lies at the at the foothills of the Maluti Mountains in the Eastern Free State where the inhabitants like the area exude an old world spirituality and tranquillity, only matched by the Amazonians of South America and the Masia of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley . The perfect musical get away .
This year we celebrate the 5th year since we started 2014 Edition will include a hosts of activities including the the film/chillout Tent screening short films and documentaries from indie/student film makers from around the world. Stalls, Drumming, Workshops and Site seeing are some of the activities to look forward to with some of the activities to be announced as the festival draws closer…
